A successful Certified Tea Blending Designer Course™ was held at the Omni Bershire Place Hotel in New York City on April 9th and 10th. The training, which was sold-out in advance, focused on the secrets and mysteries of tea blending, along with professional techniques for developing both traditional blends and signature formulas.
The course was conducted by the renowned ITMA Master Tea Blender™ Tracy Stern, ITMA Certified Tea Master™ Chas Kroll, executive director of the International Tea Masters Association, and ITMA Certified Tea Master™ Daniel Johnson, acupuncturist, herbalist, and Chinese medicine practitioner.
With blended teas the first choice among many tea drinkers today, registrants were trained in blending various types and grades of tea with other teas and with ingredients such as herbs, dried fruit, flowers and flower petals, spices, and natural flavor concentrates.
The next Certified Tea Blending Designer Course™ will be held in San Diego starting August 11th and led by our esteemed, knowledgeable trainer from Argentina, Certified Tea Master™ Diego Morlachetti. It will be followed by another Certified Tea Blending Designer Course™ in New York City in the Presidential Suite of the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel starting October 8th and led by the same group of trainers as the event in April.
